Admissions FAQs

Does my child need to be Catholic?

No — students of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome! Students will be expected to participate in daily prayer and religious education. Mass will be celebrated monthly with students and teachers, and all family members are invited to attend.

Do you offer financial assistance?

Yes! All families receive financial aid based on need. Each year, our students collectively receive over $10M in scholarships and financial aid! Go to the Tuition & Financial Aid page for details.

When will I find out if we have received financial aid?

Once you have submitted a financial aid application and uploaded all required documents, the school will process your application and notify you of any awards as soon as possible

Who provides the financial aid awards?

IMS students receive tuition support from a variety of sources, including the PA state tax credit program, generous benefactors, local foundations, and other community partners.

Can I pay my tuition in cash?

All tuition payments are processed directly through TADS (via credit/debit/bank account). IMS also accepts money orders, when needed. Currently, we cannot accept cash payments for tuition.

How old does my child need to be?

For Kindergarten: 5 years old before September 1.
For Pre-K 4: 4 years old before September 1.
For Pre-K 3: 3 years old before September 1.

Please reach out to your school if you have any questions about your child’s grade/age eligibility.

I am a current IMS parent. How do I re-enroll my child for next school year?

Each year, in January, we have a re-enrollment period when current families commit to returning the following year. Your school will share more information prior to the re-enrollment period.
