The future is bright for our St Martin of Tours Catholic School Alumna, Oyewumi Oyeniyi, who just became Philadelphia’s newest Youth Poet Laureate at 17-years-old! Oyewumi is currently a senior at Cristo Rey High School, where she is a student journalist and mental health advocate. She has recently submitted college applications to Johns Hopkins University and Harvard University! We are so proud of her accomplishments and can’t wait to see where the future takes her!
