Independence Mission School, St. Thomas Aquinas held their annual Trunk or Treat on October 31st at 12:30 pm. The highly anticipated Trunk-or-Treat event has become a favorite in the community. For weeks leading up to the event, families and team members diligently prepare and channel their creativity into transforming their car trunks into Halloween masterpieces. Everyone including students, parents, and school staff will be dressed in their most creative costumes.

Special events like these are made possible through the partnership the school has with the 17th district police and the Families Behind the Badge Children Foundation Police Youth Alliance. Officers were dressed up and participated in the fun by handing out candy to the students from their police car.
