SS. Cyril & Philomena Catholic School was nominated and selected to receive the YMCA of Eastern Delaware County’s IMPACT Award. The award is given annually to two organizations that are recognized for doing impactful and transformative work in and for their community. “We are honored and deeply grateful to be a recipient of the prestigious YMCA IMPACT Award.
This recognition is a testament to our commitment to serving children in our community,” said Brigid McClelland, Principal of SS. Cyril & Philomena, who accepted the award at the YMCA of Eastern Delaware County’s IMPACT Celebration held on December 1, 2023, at the Drexelbrook Events Center.
SS. Cyril & Philomena was selected for the school’s remarkable dedication to fostering the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual development of its students, including the school’s comprehensive approach and unwavering commitment to appreciating, respecting, and embracing the uniqueness and diverse cultural backgrounds of its students.
