When Independence Mission Schools began, the founders took the word “mission” intentionally. We were founded to offer families of all faiths and income levels the opportunity for their children to learn in a nurturing environment and grow in a culture of love, setting them on the path to a promising future.

Today, that mission is carried forward by a remarkable group of people we call Mission Champions. These are our donors, board members, and friends whose steadfast commitment fuels student success—and whose belief in our students makes them true champions of our mission.

Closing the Gap

Over 98% of IMS families receive financial aid, with families contributing an average of $1,800 towards a year’s tuition. The actual cost per student, however, is $9,000, with IMS’s scholarship and tax credit funds averaging $7,200 per child, leaving a $2,500 gap.
